Still in it's first years of business, the community owned company has fast become a destination for gastronomic delights and wonderful coffee and is proving a real hit in the city.
The store was set up after a public meeting in March 2009 gave the overwhelming response from the community they wanted a foodie hub! And so it was born. The Real Food Store is owned by Exeter Local Food Ltd. which is a Community Benefit Society with over 300 members, one of the largest community-owned food enterprises in the country. Each of the 300 members has an investment in the company and each own a little slice of it.

A splendidly full bodied coffee with ripe, dark fruit flavour and some dried tropical fruit notes. It has a sticky and jammy mouth feel.
