The nature of the natural coffee from Das Almas gives the blend a fruity background flavour to give the espresso a rounded character.

Following on from our sourcing trip to Bazil we are happy to offer our new Seasonal Collection Espresso. We travelled to the south of the state of Minas Gerias by bus into and area of lush hills surrounding the spa town Pocos de Caldas. Here we tasted some beautiful lots of coffee from the area and it was here in Pocos de Caldas that we came across some lovely Pulped Natural coffees with distinct syrupy sweetness from farms called Das Almas and Fazenda Mariano.

Shortly after we met with the farm owners Ricardo Barbosa and Virgulino Muniz and agreed a fair price for the coffee directly with them.  The growers were very excited about our Famrer30 certification and are keen to be involved next year.

Our current espresso blend consists of:

60%        Fazenda Mariano, Brazil (100% pulped natural Catuai)

20%        Fazenda Das Almas, Brazil (Pulped Natural)

20%        Fazenda Das Almas, Brazil (Natural)
