Events, flights and % sale donations.

Next week will see hundreds of coffee shops and businesses throughout the UK participating in UK Coffee Week. As well as celebrating the UK’s coffee scene, it’s a charitable week to raise valuable funds for Project Waterfall (more info on the foundation and their important work below).

To help raise funds, we’ll be running activity throughout Origin. Here’s a list of what’s on and how you can get involved.

Coffee Cocktail Event
Date/Time: Thursday 13 April, 7pm
Donations to Project Waterfall

An evening of coffee cocktail chats and tastings with Paul Ross, the UK Coffee In Good Spirits Champion, Joshua Tarlo Origin’s Head of Coffee and Chris Watson from Chase Vodka.

Paul Ross, UK Coffee In Good Spirits Champion

The evening will kick off with introductions from Paul Ross. Paul's routine in UKCIGs focussed on food nostalgia; One of the delicious cocktails that saw him reign supreme was a representation of Lemon, Orange & Lavender Cake, evoking the nostalgia of his Grandma’s baking. This is what you can expect from the evening.

Paul will be chatting about coffee cocktails and the competition ahead of the World championships in June. Joshua Tarlo, Origin’s Head of Coffee will then be chatting about sourcing the incredible coffee that Paul will be using at the Worlds, including tastings. But, of course, coffee is only a part of the story; Chris Watson of Chase Distillery will be joining the team to chat about the provenance of the spirits. All of these open discussions will be accompanied by tastings, followed by further cocktails at the end of the chats.

Address – 65 Charlotte Road, Shoreditch, EC2A 3PE
