To work with our Education and Training Manager you will apply your passion for speciality coffee and previous SCA teaching experience to train our highly valued customers, offering something unique to them, and to Origin Coffee.

Origin is growing. And we’re looking for ambitious, like-minded people to join us for the next stage of our journey. You will support our education and training manager by delivering “on-site” training and auditing of customers at their premises and virtually. The position will require some travel across the UK a clean driving licence is therefore desirable. You will be customer facing and will be the epitome of an Origin brand ambassador; brilliant at building rapport with people and sharing their passion for speciality coffee.
As an experienced SCA trainer you will work with our Education & Training Manager in delivering the Origin training programme to our café partners across the UK, including face-to-face, virtual, and to our own Origin team. You will mostly be working out of our coffee shop on Scoresby Street, Southwark. As an experienced coffee professional, your expertise will shine through, you’re a people person and can do your own theatre bolstered with technical know-how. You can build rapport with people and engagement is key to parting with knowledge. As a coffee professional with experience, you are still looking to further your career and progress in our industry, you will ask us, how we can enable you to realise your potential.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- On-site and virtual barista training and customer meetings
- Delivery and development of all educational content and syllabus
- Teaching SCA Coffee Diploma courses
- On-site auditing of equipment, coffee quality and barista skills where required
- Cover for classroom and Origin Basic Barista in education room at Scoresby St, Southwark
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and to support events.
