We're looking for an experienced Purchasing Officer or someone with a similar background who is pro-active and well-organised to join our growing team here at Origin. The primary focus will be to develop our supply chain and help adopt lean methodologies.
The role will include handling purchases throughout the business from stock ordering, and supply forecasting to departmental spending. We are looking for someone who will be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks, and evaluate products and vendors whilst having a keen eye for numbers, including financial accuracy. Origin is in the process of implementing lean manufacturing principles and therefore experience working with purchasing and planning systems, including Kanban and 5S, would be a significant benefit.
