Who will win THE ULTIMATE BATTLE OF THE BARISTAS and conquer THE COFFEE UNIVERSE?
We’re looking for 6 teams to sign up on the night, comprising of an amateur barista/home barista and one pro to compete together as a pair in 4 rounds of BARISTA BATTLING. With each round being judged by 3 different judges.
ROUND 1: THE BLINDFOLDED BREWERS CUP
Guide your teammate to brew a pour over whilst they’re blindfolded and have their arms wrapped around you. You will be both judged on the speed and quality.
ROUND 2: LATTE ART RELAY RACE
The relay race to end all relay races. You and your teammate will pour latte art into a line of six cups, taking it in turns. You will be judged on the speed and the quality of the artwork.
ROUND 3: CUP TASTERS PAIRS
Which one is unique? Which pair are the same? You must work together with your teammate and use your sense of taste and smell to identify the one unique coffee and the two that are identical out of the three coffees. But not just once, but four times. You will be judged on the speed and accuracy of your coffee super sense.
ROUND 4: OATLY IN GOOD SPIRITS
Create a cocktail using Oatly. Easy? You’ll be judged on your creativity and the taste of your cocktail.
Food and drink will be provided for everyone there whether you’re competing or just watching. And, aside from conquering the coffee universe there will be prizes for the winners too!
