Regina de Fátima Bueno and her husband Silvanei de Sousa are both children of coffee farmers and together run their farms Sítio Cocho Velho and Sítio Três Barras in the city of Lambari in the Mantiqueira de Minas coffee region of Sul de Minas, following in the footsteps of their great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents.
They began by working as harvesters on neighbouring farms and slowly started adding to their own property. In 2014, they intensified their efforts to produce speciality coffee to add value to both the quality of the coffee and of their family’s life.
This lot of Red Catuai coffee underwent Natural processing. Catuai coffees are cultivated widely across Brazil, and are known for their high productivity potential.

Filter: 60-65g coffee per litre of water, brewed for 3-4 min

We create a new and unique profile for each coffee we roast. Although the profiles are different, our approach is always the same, to highlight and accentuate the flavours created at the farm and mill. This means we don't label our coffees as espresso, filter, dark or light roast. All of our coffees are omni-roast, meant to be delicious however you brew. We believe the heart of speciality is keeping the identity and character of every coffee intact and alive, no matter the brew method.
