We're still here, we're still roasting.
Just to reassure you that production at Origin is business as usual at the moment. Our green coffee is landed and we're pulling down extra stock to hold in the roastery, along with bags and labels. We’re fortunate to roast in a low risk area – with a large, expert roasting team available - and have also put in place measures to restrict access to protect our production team. We have full availability of all products and a currently robust continuation of supply so hope you enjoy this month's incredible line up.
We’ve cancelled all SCA courses until mid-April, along with all enthusiast courses. We will continue to review future bookings on a rolling fortnightly basis. Any courses booked and then cancelled or postponed due to Covid-19 uncertainty will receive a full refund.
Our technical team are still available to support our wholesale customers with emergency call outs, especially in no-coffee situations. The team are also on the end of the phone for any machinery issues that can be resolved remotely.
We've put in place additional measures to help protect our staff and customers. This includes contactless payments only, no reusable cups and no communal items such as sugar, water.
Our staff are – as you’d expect – washing their hands thoroughly throughout the day, including after handling any used cutlery and crockery. We’ve put in place extra cleaning measures. We’ve also cancelled all events at our shops.
We will continue to do all we can to continue to support our customers and update this page as and when there are any changes, along with email updates to all our wholesale customers. We'll also post key updates on Instagram.
- Unfortunately our sites at the British Library will be temporarily closed as of Wednesday 18 March.
- We're temporarily closing our Scoresby Street location as of Thursday 19 March.
- Harbour Head reopens on Saturday 4 July with new safety measures in place to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.
- Charlotte Road closed on Friday 20 March.
