The Dimtu Tero farm is located in the Odo Shakiso district, Guji Zone. The way in which it operates and organises its coffee producers, is completely unique in Ethiopia. Based on the idea of an integrated farm, many producers come together to share their skills and yield. It offers a more equitable split of the labour and their fruits.
We choose this coffee after being drawn to find one last natural Ethiopian coffee before the next harvest begins to arrive. After tasting through dozens of cups, Dimtu’s sweetness stood out above the rest. Its complex acidity showing vibrant citrus fruits and round red berries. A natural coffee that is so clear in flavour definition but so rooted in its approachable notes. Delicious as an espresso or with milk.
Espresso: 1:2 dose to yield, extracted in 28-36 secs
Filter: 0.07:1 coffee to water, brewed in 3-4 mins
Roast days are Tuesdays and Fridays. All orders placed by midnight the day before will be sent out first-class on the roast day.
