    Decadent

Melts evenly into a silky, smooth, rich drinking chocolate with notes of caramel & subtle warming spice with a prominent black cherry note on the finish

    A sad day

I was extremely disappointed to find that you had changed the drinking chocolate from the last purchase that I made. The last batch of drinking chocolate was from the Dominican Republic, Peru, Sierra Leone, had 35% cocoa and in a powdery form. The flavour was far superior and rich compared to the flakes of the new brand, even though this has a higher cocoa content. I found this new chocolate to be weak in taste and harder to dissolve in the Nespresso velvatiser, a machine especially made for drinking chocolate and which made a superb cuppa of the old type of drinking chocolate.

Will you ever be returning to the old Dominican Republic, Peru, Sierra Leone, powder drinking chocolate.

    PLEASE.

I am an ardent chocolate drinker and it was a very sad day to discover the best ever drink from yourselves had been replaced by this inferior product.

    Hi Gail,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review.

After closer inspection, I can see your last order from us is over 6 years ago back in 2016.

Since then, we have changed our chocolate supplier and have chosen to work with Rio Nuevo, a B Corp certified brand who follow an ethical and sustainable supply chain model. The quality of their product is exception, and the percentage of cocoa is actually much high than the one you mentioned previously. This might be a reason why it’s not to your taste.

    Hope this helps clarify.

Any other questions please reach out to us directly through info@origincoffee.co.uk

    Many thanks,

    Sam @ Origin
