PRIVACY POLICY
When you order a product from Origin, we need to collect certain information from you; your name, your email address, the delivery address, your phone number and your credit or debit card information. This information is then used to process your order and it allows us to contact you to notify you of the status of your order if necessary.
We will not pass this personal information onto others unless it is necessary in order to process your order or payment.
Origin will be sending regular email updates to customers to let you know about new products as they arrive or special offers/contests and promotions relating to the company. If you do not wish to receive this information you can simply email us at remove@origincoffee.co.uk
SECURITY
When you place an order online you are connected to a secure server. The secure server software encrypts all information you input which means that any sensitive information such as your credit or debit card details cannot be intercepted or seen by anyone except our Payment Service Provider, Protx.
Origin never sees your card details, we are notified by e-mail when you place an order and are informed when your payment has been authorised by your bank.
MAKING A PURCHASE
After you have browsed our catalogue and identified the products that you want, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. Once you have everything you want in your cart, click on ‘Order/Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few essential details so that your order can be processed.

We will also accept payment by post, but please don’t send cash – cheques or postal orders should be made payable to Origin Coffee.
DELIVERY
We roast all our coffee to-order, subject to stock availability, company closure and bank holidays. We will try our best to contact you if the wait is expected to be longer than 10 days.
Coffee: We roast our web orders on a Wednesday and send them via Royal Mail (or FedEx for large orders) the next day. Your order will need to be with us by midnight on Tuesday for roasting on Wednesday AM. If you miss this deadline, while we try to make sure you're not waiting too long for your coffee, your coffee may not be roasted until the following Wednesday. We will do our utmost to ensure that you receive your coffee within 7 working days of order placement.
Barista essentials: We will aim to have these goods with you within 7 working days of order placement.
Coffee Machines: Although we will do our best to send all machines out to you within 48 hours of ordering, please allow 28 days for delivery.
For smaller parcels we shall use standard Royal Mail delivery. Larger packages will be sent using a courier. There is a maximum postage and packaging charge of £4-50. (... or single bag of coffee £1.00 , two bags of coffee £2.00, three bags of coffee £3.00, up to a maximum of £4.50.)
CANCELLING OR CHANGING YOUR ORDER.
Once you have placed your order you will be issued with an order number via email confirmation, please quote the order number in any further communications.
If you wish to cancel your order, providing it has not already been dispatched, we will simply refund your money. It is important that you notify us as quickly as possible - please email info@origincoffee.co.uk or call us on 01326 574337. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been dispatched.
Similarly, if you wish to amend an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Again this will only be possible if your order has not already been dispatched.
RETURNS
Origin are committed to providing you with the highest quality products.
If however you are dissatisfied with a product you have purchased it can be returned to us, providing it is not more than 7 days since you received the goods. You will only receive a refund for packets of coffee that have not been opened and for accessories that are in a saleable condition. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us.
If goods are faulty, or if you receive a product that you did not order, we will provide you with a full refund or replacement provided you notify us within 30 days of receiving the goods. Please contact us via email info@origincoffee.co.uk or phone 01326 574337 so that we can arrange with you suitable collection or return shipping options.
Although faulty coffee machines will ultimately be dealt with direct by the manufacturer, so that we can facilitate you sorting the problem, please contact info@origincoffee.co.uk in the first instance.
This will not affect your statutory rights.
PAYMENT
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Switch, Solo and UK Visa Debit Cards. If you’d rather not use plastic we will accept payment by cheque or postal order sent to us by post.

Our customer service team can be contacted from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. A 24 hour answer machine is also provided should you wish to contact us outside office hours.
COMPETITIONS
If you have entered a competition the information you share with us (such as your name, email, address and telephone number) will not be shared with any other company unless clearly stated on the competition entry page.
Winners will be contacted by email. A reply to this email confirming details required to administer the prize will need to be received by Origin in 7 days or a new winner will be chosen.
Origin Coffee Ltd reserve the right to cancel a competition at any time.
Winners chosen by Origin Coffee are final.
