Resolute is a carefully curated blend, made up of Amoju and Los Altos:
Amoju is a community coffee blend from Jaen and San Ignacio, Cajamarca, named after the river running through Jaen. The coffees here are home-processed by individual producers, picked, processed, and dried before being delivered to Chacra Coffee warehouse, where they are stored and blended before milling. Farms average around 2 hectares, with most using simple methods and fertilizers. Many now use raised beds and parabolic dryers, improving quality, though tarpaulin mats are still common.
Los Altos is a 70-hectare farm at the base of Kilambé Mountain. With the Mierisch family working with Origin for over a decade, Los Altos coffee has become a central part to our offering. This coffee is roasted to highlight the farm’s terroir and identity, resulting in a crisp, smooth, and flavourful cup. The blend draws from higher altitudes to emphasise acidity, while maintaining the terroir's sweet nuttiness.
