Brewing Innovation in Cornwall

We are set to transform the UK’s speciality coffee landscape with the launch of a cutting-edge Cold Brew Coffee and Capsule Production Facility. Backed by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) through Cornwall Council’s Good Growth Programme, this project marks a major investment in sustainable manufacturing, local employment, and regional economic growth.

This new facility will bring production in-house, enabling the company to meet rising demand with greater quality control, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. The facility at Polhigey Mine near Redruth, will feature advanced equipment for grinding, brewing, sterilisation, bagging, capsule filling, and packaging. It will serve both wholesale and direct-to-consumer markets across the UK and Europe.

The project is more than just a production upgrade—it’s a strategic investment in Cornwall’s future—targeting further job creation, improvements to our sustainability efforts, local economic growth and setting new standards in speciality coffee quality. With the grant funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Cornwall Council's Good Growth Fund, we are able to accelerate our own production of high quality cold brew and ready to drink products to the market.

This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills. For more information, visit UK Shared Prosperity Fund - GOV.UK
