Atlas is decaffeinated using an all-natural Sugarcane process. It involves pressurising and expanding the coffee beans with light steam, before it is rinsed in Ethyl Acetate, an organic compound created by the fermentation of non-GMO Colombian sugarcane. Mountain water and steam are then added to remove any remaining caffeine before the coffee is dried.

The sugarcane process not only helps to preserve most of the original flavours of the coffee, but it actually enhances the overall profile. The carbon footprint of Atlas is significantly lower when compared to other decaffeinated coffees, due to the entire process taking place in Colombia.

Decaf without sacrificing the flavour
I highly recommend this decaf coffee as the flavour is not lost, as is the case with most decafs. I also like the washed process rather than the chemical decaffeinating process.

Best decaf
Definitely my favourite decaf coffee so far. Beautifully rounded and everything you need from a coffee. Importantly, I like it as much as the equivalent caffeinated bean. That takes some doing.

Lovely decaf- if you didn’t know, you wouldn’t know.
I can only drink decaf these days, and this is up there amongst the best I’ve tried. Natural process used to decaffeinate which is important to me (as opposed to chemical). Smooth rounded flavour and you wouldn’t know it’s caffeine free from the taste! Thoroughly recommend! (Oh and good for a late night espresso martini without impacting sleep!) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
