Timemore French Press U

Timemore have done a good job at making a simple modern affordable small French press that makes good coffee. I’ve moved away a fair bit from this style of brew with my many dripper options however I wanted something that looks more up to date to fit in with my gear and make that reliable tasty press pot coffee when required. As a solo drinker this little pot is ideal. Simple materials but strong glass in a nice clean black plastic sleeve. The only thing I tend to do is place this on a rubber coaster when pressing down to give me that extra stability assurance. The metal filter does a good job of filtering out most fines and keeping the at bottom cup sludge down to a minimum. A good coarse grind setting is required otherwise pressing down can get tight, though a slight cm lift up and back down fixes the pressure build up. Slow and steady is the key. I really like Timemore products as they are a good balance between latest designs and affordability. Great service as usual by Origin Coffee.
