Join us throughout January as we celebrate The Year of the Snake with tasting experiences, small group brewing sessions, and an exclusive talk with our sourcing partners, where we’ll explore the exceptional quality, rich history and promising future of Asian coffee. Discover the rare and remarkable coffees in our Lunar New Year coffee collection, travel through taste and explore how terroir, climate, processing and brew method influence the flavour profile in the final cup. All events welcome all levels of brewing experience and coffee knowledge. We hope to see you there.
Tasting Experiences
Guided by our coffee team, our tasting experiences offer an opportunity to learn how to ‘taste’ coffee from the experts, using a method known as cupping. You’ll be taken on a journey through taste, sampling the entire Lunar New Year coffee collection, including the rare (and very limited) Taiwanese special edition, Qing Yé.
Join us for engaging, relaxed evening that’s suitable for coffee professionals and curious learners alike, a chance to explore your palate, learn a new skill and experience our most anticipated coffee launch on the calendar.
Exploring Asian Coffee: A Talk + Tasting with Indochina
In our talk and taste evening, we will be joined by our partners Indochina Coffee, a family-run business that has specialised in importing high-quality specialty coffee from Asia for nearly twenty years.
We'll brew and taste a selection of exceptional coffees from Asia while discussing the challenges of coffee farming in the region, its significance for the future of specialty coffee, and how Indochina is championing fair prices, sustainability, quality, traceability, and the unique flavours of Asian coffees.
Qing Yè - Taiwanese Tasting with Freda
Join our Director of Coffee for an exclusive brewing workshop featuring our Lunar New Year Special Edition, Qing Yé. In this small group setting with Freda,you'll brewand taste Qing Yé three ways,exploring the nuances in flavour between the methods, and delve into the unique story and flavour profile of this exceptional Taiwanese coffee, enjoyed alongside traditional Taiwanese pastries.
