This Origin branded stainless steel coffee storage canister has a patented lid to actively remove and lock out air to preserve and protect freshness and flavour. Most storage canisters are 'airtight', which means they lock air in with the contents. The Airscape forces unwanted air out of the canister, extending the life of your coffee.

Keeps Coffee Fresh
Had a 500g container a few weeks and it's made an appreciable difference to keeping my coffee fresh for at least two weeks. Can't comment beyond two weeks as that's as much coffee I've kept in the Airscape so far.
