Handmade ceramic coffee cups created for Origin by Dor & Tan, long‑standing collaborators whose work brings together local materials, traditional craft and thoughtful function.

Made using Cornish clay from St Agnes, each cup features a hand‑carved, faceted design and is designed with speciality coffee in mind — stackable for espresso machines, perfectly sized for flat whites, and shaped with a curved interior to support smooth pouring and latte art.

Supporting Women-Grown

By buying and showcasing coffees sourced from women coffee producers, we can directly support their economic empowerment and contribute to a more equitable coffee industry. Our Atlas programme was set up in 2022 by our Director of Coffee, with the intention of supporting and empowering women coffee producers, regardless of their farm size. The programme involves exclusively purchasing coffees directly from a cooperative of women producers in Colombia. We pay the producers a premium to join the programme and for their coffee, which we ensure is significantly higher than commodity market rates. Through this work, we’ve built direct‑trade relationships with numerous producers in the programme, whose coffees we are proud to feature throughout our annual calendar.

Roasted in Cornwall, Packed in Cornwall

For the first time, our capsules are produced entirely in‑house. After roasting, the coffee is ground and packed at our new dedicated facility just minutes from the roastery; an important milestone that allows us to manage every stage with greater precision while reducing transport and time between roasting and packing. Central to the process is an industry‑leading roller grinder that allows for maximum particle distribution, delivering an exceptionally even grind at lower temperatures to protect flavour. The result is fresher coffee, improved extraction, and a more balanced, expressive cup.
