    Gift for friends to experience Origin!

    Sent a box of pre-ground for espresso to my friends, who were amazed by the quality of the packaging, the hessian bag to pad it out (authentic coffee bag!) and the taste of the coffee. A great present for a friend or loved one to try new coffee and get the origin experience!

    Gorgeous selection of espresso blends.

    I wanted to try the three origin blends to see which suited us best. They are all delicious with interesting flavours- our preference is stronghold for lattes but the other two made great coffees too. They are freshly roasted and very reasonable in price. I love the way you get loyalty points with origin and they reward you for being loyal. Also it’s really easy to stop and change subscriptions which I never had previously. Other companies need to catch up! 😊

    Before I get to the coffee, I’m going to start with the customer experience. Origin have nailed the process, from ease of ordering, prompt notifications without sending too many updates, fast and reliable delivery times, and professional packaging that isn’t bulky or wasteful. These are all things that are hard to do, and normally only noticed when something goes wrong.

    Now on to the coffee! It’s a great mix, with the Resolute and Stronghold blends providing great examples of what you might expect from an espresso, whereas Pathfinder is what they describe as their “bright” espresso. I was certain I was going to end up getting a subscription for one of the classics, but actually ended up getting a subscription for Pathfinder, which is an enjoyable coffee that is easy to drink an d very moreish.

    I can honestly say there’s nothing I didn’t like about any of these three coffees, and would definitely recommend this gift set whether you’re actually giving it as a gift or you’re looking to try some different blends.
