Celebrating 10 years of Origin Coffee in Shoreditch, we embark on our next chapter with a fresh look and new mural design by Murugiah.

“I first moved to London in 2007 and was immediately struck by the energy and creativity of the area, its constantly evolving nature never ceases to amaze me.  

I’m reflecting that in my mural by anthropomorphising the creative machine of Shoreditch, the central character in the mural. And then creating a narrative of characters entering the creative machine and being fundamentally changed by it when they come out the other side. 

I love using lots of colours and throwing shapes together. It’s a reflection of the chaotic world we live in.”
