Aliss Hartmann is a third-generation coffee producer and a steward of one of Panama’s most respected coffee legacies. After growing up on Finca Hartmann, she established Finca Momoto in 2018, a small, high-elevation farm in Santa Clara dedicated to cultivating rare and expressive varietals. Aliss’s approach is rooted in deep care for the land and a commitment to quality, biodiversity, and sustainability. Her work is both a continuation of her family’s legacy and a bold step forward, producing coffees that reflect her vision, precision, and passion for excellence.

Grown on Panama’s volcanic soil, this naturally processed Gesha from Finca Momoto bursts with pineapple, strawberry, and orange blossom. Third-generation producer Aliss Hartmann cultivates rare varietals under full shade, with deep care for biodiversity and quality. A vibrant cup shaped by terroir, intention, and regenerative farming.
Process

Process
This Gesha underwent a meticulous natural processing, beginning with selective handpicking at peak ripeness. The cherries were then dried slowly over 20 days on raised beds, allowing the sugars and fruit complexity to fully develop. This method enhances the coffee’s vibrant character, amplifying its tropical sweetness and floral clarity. The result is a cup that’s plush, expressive, and deeply layered, capturing the essence of the fruit and the terroir in every sip.
