As the largest coffee producer in the world, Brazil showcases just how diverse coffee can be. From classic bold Brazilian cup profiles that are so well recognised across coffee shops and hotels, to expressive new-school flavours created through experimentation and industry leading techniques. Throughout the year you can expect our collection to reference both ends of the modern vs traditional profile spectrum.
Brazilian coffee is typically low in acidity, sweet, and heavy bodied, easily distinguished and well-loved thanks to their approachable, common tasting notes of chocolate and nuts. Historically, the country has predominantly used natural coffee processing techniques, which involves drying coffee cherries with no water.
Brazil is a country we visit in person each year to meet with our Direct Trade partners. This is a chance to listen. Learn. Ask questions. Taste. Navigating this incredible landscape is made easier by having such great relationships with long terms producers such as Das Almas and Sao Joao which is overseen by our export partners SMC.
Expect coffees from this country to be featured throughout the year. If none are showing, simply head to our speciality coffee collection or further your learning with our Brazil Coffee Guide.
