Written by our Director of Coffee, Freda Yuan, Sip 'n' Slurp is a book for people who are interested in developing or refining their sensory awareness.

Sensory experiences can be very personal; there is no right or wrong to how we perceive different flavours. This book offers a basic sensory foundation and deconstructs the tasting process bit by bit, then reassembles it with different practical sensory aspects.

The underlying principles in the book are rooted in Buddhism, with a focus on mindfulness in the tasting. Written by our Director of Coffee, Freda Yuan, Sip ‘n’ Slurp provides enough correlation regarding sensorial language structure and cross-modal correspondence to support our day-to-day sensory communications. Ultimately it will enable the reader to speak the same language when describing a coffee.

5% of the wholesale profit will be donated to the Mental Health Foundation in the UK.
