The Opal One machine utilises a unique silicon brew chamber, eliminating unwanted dilution. It features both higher pressure and higher temperature brewing, delivering a fuller-bodied, stronger coffee than ever before. Our pods were produced using a high-end range of 100% plastic-free and eco-friendly Nespresso compatible capsules with direct-trade coffee. They're the first in the world to feature an oxygen barrier to preserve freshness and reduce packaging.

Large Water Tank Capacity

The Opal One is equipped with an 800ml water tank, allowing for multiple brews without constant refilling, making it convenient for both personal and small-group use.

    Choose the pre-programmed ristretto (25ml), espresso (40ml) or lungo (110ml) options or set your own. OPAL’s easily customised settings mean you can perfectly personalise your coffee to suit your preferences, or the roaster’s recommendations.

  • Adjustable Temperature

    Specialty coffees and lighter roasts usually require higher brewing temperatures than most pod machines can achieve to extract all the goodness from the coffee. With the OPAL you can switch between 3 temperature settings to make sure your coffee tastes exactly as it should.

  • Higher Pressure

    OPAL's silicon brewing chamber is specially engineered to avoid leaks and unwanted dilution of your coffee. OPAL’s higher pressure brew-mechanism delivers a fuller bodied, stronger coffee that’s closer to barista-prepared espresso than any pod machine before.

  • 800ml Water Tank

    A comparatively large water tank for this compact machine means you can keep brewing for longer. When you do need to, it’s easily removed making for convenient refilling and cleaning.

    A great machine but no repairs support

    This machine is incredible however if it breaks there is no way of getting it repaired. The spring behind the pod loader jammed and then pinged out about a fortnight after my warranty expired. The manufacturers have shown willing and provided a list of companies they've googled that repair coffee machines in the UK, I contacted them all and they all only repair commercial machines and will not look at domestic machines - which was a huge waste of my time. I took it to a community repair session in desperation and they could not fix it, so sadly, my machine ended up at the local recycling centre.

    We're really sorry to hear about your experience with the spring mechanism failure and the frustrating journey you've had trying to get your machine repaired. It must have been incredibly disappointing for this to happen just after your warranty expired, and then to spend time contacting multiple repair services only to find they couldn't help with domestic machines.

    We understand how disheartening it must have been to eventually have to take your machine to the recycling centre after exhausting all repair options, especially when you clearly valued the machine's performance. Your feedback about the lack of accessible repair support for domestic coffee machines is really valuable to us, as this is clearly a significant gap in the service experience we're able to offer our customers.

    We recognise that even exceptional machines can develop mechanical issues, and having reliable repair pathways available is crucial for customer confidence and sustainability. Your experience highlights an important area where the support infrastructure needs improvement to match the quality of the product itself.

    Opal One Pod

    I did a lot of research before settling on the Opal Pod machine. A few weeks in, it seems to have been a good purchase and time will tell in relation to its reliability. We wanted a Nespresso machine due to the bigger variety of pods available. The Origin pods taste great and I am watching the online videos to suss out the best way to extract the most from the machine. It’s not 5 stars as even though I have set the machine to its highest temperature setting, it is still not actually that hot and espresso lose their temperate very quickly
