Pampan's mission is to bring quality chai into the UK speciality coffee scene and beyond. The name 'Pamban' is inspired by Pamban Island and Pampan Bridge, located in-between India and Sri Lanka. It represents both ethic origins of the co-founders and a meeting of cultures and tastes.
Chai is a tea made by brewing black tea with a mixture of aromatic spices. Pamban have developed their own chai recipes since launching, blending different spices sourced from India and Sri Lanka together to create a full range of delicious and authentic products. Chai's can spicy, sweet, creamy, floral and refreshing. As well as being a delicious and complex drink, chai is also full of antioxidants with natural health benefits.

In a saucepan add half a cup of water, half a cup of milk (or non-dairy milk), 1 teaspoon of Pamban Spice Mix (included), 1 teaspoon of Pamban Tea (included) and bring to boil. Simmer for 2 minutes and strain. Add sugar to sweeten and to bring out the flavour of the spices.
